house of the dead 2 without sound and no start possible

Hello all

so long time far of this forum , coming back cause so much trouble with sega boards

well first

i have 2 boards without sound , problem is from the board for sure , i tested separetly and with another rom board all is working great

could you tell me where can be the problem? i am thinking it can be the cy7C185 IC sound THE PROBLEM , but not sure

i have another board ...NOT START POSSIBLE , seems to be when i push the start button nothing happen , which one IC control this start ... if someone can help me , will be much better for me than to send theses board to KEN and wait 6 months .. perhaps its simple defects

Sorry dude, but it is impossible to assist you with anything if you do not provide enough detail. Things like: what boards, what games, what have you done to correct issues, setup, etc.

hello

oh you completely right i forgot all details ( but i told about hotd board)

model 2 c board with game hotd board

the 2 first boards have no sound , you switch on the machin and sound initialize but no sound , ust be sound parts defect but where to look ?

the other board has no start possible , i try to start the game and play and nothing happen , to setup imput test i push the start button and nothing happen , the off /on start button stay on th off , seems to be the board is not receiving the button signal ..must be a small IC which control this on/ff start button , someone must know which one ;-0

Ones without sound are Touring Car 2C CRX mainboards, the sound is disabled on those, until a MPEG board is hooked up.
