Hi,
i have a Naomi 2 with GDROM unit that is connected with a Capcom IO Board.
On startup i get error 01.
In test mode i only see rom board although a dimm board is connected.
What can be the cause of the error, not enought power ?
George

Faulty rom board, I'd check the pins on both the N2 and the rom board (in your case dimm bd).

This could be, but I would make checks before declaring anything dead. What is the bios version you are using? Also, does it give you the same error when you use carts?

Error 01 is normally faulty rom board, or not installed correctly rom board
Error 02 is normally BIOS related
Ideally you need to check it with a regular cart.

My Bios Version: EPR 23605B
A Game ROM Board is working without problems.

You have the right BIOS for a dimm board, so I'd say you have a faulty dimm board sadly.

That would be unfortunate. Did it work before? If so, perhaps the memory dimms might need to be reseated.
