N2 Setup

Post by OldFoo »

OK,

So I'm just waiting on my N2 setup, I'm wanting someone to run through the setup for me.

I currently have a Naomi 1 and Capcom I/O, and standard Arcade PSU.

I don't have a GD-ROM for the N1, and the setup is fine.

For the N2, will the capcom provide enough juice for the Mobo, or should I use a PC supply (with my included PC-Naomi lead) until I get a universal cab / Sega PSU?

HELP!!!

Also, is it worth me upgrading my N1 bios to a GD-ROM compatible one, or just use the N2 as my GD setup for the time being?

Personally I think the DIMM board looks shite on the N1 with it being a different colour.

A PC power unit is better than cranking up the voltage on the Capcom I/O.

when i had an aerocity, original power supply wasn't enough for a n2+gd setup and a capcom converter. I've tried with a psu supposed to be able to output 12A on the +5V and again it wasn't enough.

then modded an atx psu : worked flawlessly :)
