Is it possible to play vertical games on horiz monitor?

Hello Everybody my name is konrad and i'm from Italy, i got a universal naomi cab, with the horizontal monitor setting, i would like to understand....

Is it possible play vertical games (ikaruga for ex.) on the horizontal

monitor?

(simply by setting it from the test menu without rotating phisically the monitor)

I would like to understand it before buy vertical shooting games cause

i always tested standard horiz games on the naomi system....

Sorry. :smt009 The Naomi system itself doesn't have a way to rotate the games. It displays the game as it was made.

I think some games let you... but I know for a fact Ikaruga does not.

You will have to rotate it to play Ikaruga... but it's totally worth it!

The only bad part is once you 'tate it for shooters you won't want to turn it back... then you'll have to buy a second cab! :)

I've played Castle 2, Trizeal & Ikaruga on Naomi, none of these do, just turn you joystick round & play sideways Castle is ok like this, Ikaruga is a little harder.
