Connectors Again.

Post by OldFoo »

Hi All,

I'm thinking of doing a big order of connectors for my workshop.

Does anyone have a list of the JST part numbers used on the Naomi. Mainly after the power connectors used on the Mobo, but would quite like to get some more of the PSU ones as well.

Also, I'm after the part numbers for the AMP connectors used for model 3 looms.

Any help???

Don't forget that you have to order the pins separately. Here's a list of everything I picked up, including power connectors for the GD-ROM drive and I/O board, and the extra button harness for the Sega I/O board:

VLP-06V - 6 position power connector

VLP-08V - 8 position power connector

H6P-SHF-AA - 6 position, single row for GD-ROM power

H14P-SHF-AA - 14 position, single row for CN3 on Sega I/O

SVF-42T-P2.0 - pins for VLP (use SVF-61T-P2.0 if you need to crimp 2 wires in same pin)

SHF-001T-0.8BS - pins for SHF

And this is the crimp tool that I used:

I hope that helps!

The link works fine, but it doesn't list all of the parts if he needs to make up a complete set of cables. I had to do this myself a couple months ago, so I still have all the info.

Sorry for being so daft...:smt120 For some reason I thought Merovingian was referring to the link in joshua3dg's post. I'll fix my link straight away.

Are these the same connectors used on Model 3 PCBS?
