Hello all, :smt006
When playing Project Justice I keep having this problem where the game cuts off and reboots at random times. It seems as though the power to PSU or Mobo is being interrupted. I am trying to figure out how to remedy my situation. I have adjusted the voltage and nothing seems to prevent this. Does any one know what the problem could be?
I am using a supergun made by D-lite(revolver model) and a Naomi 1 mobo Capcom I/O and Naomi PSU.
I must include the fact that my stereo, sometimes my computer and of course my television are on at the time. The power to my room is gone so I am using an outlet from another room to power everthing in my room using an extentsion cord.
I am not sure what happens...
I think you should take a meter reading of all DC voltages while the Naomi is running. The readings may fluctuate a little, but you generally want it to stay a little above the actual rating. For example, you want the 12V line to be between 12.1V and 12.5V, and so on. Generally speaking, you raise the voltage a little at a time while watching the meter until either the game stops rebooting, or before you reach 13V. But you want to stay under 13v just to be safe. Remember that this is more of a guideline than stating actual working voltages. A little common sense goes a long way. :smt023
