Naomi setup with a possible bad DIMM board

I picked up a Naomi setup today, all mounted to a wood board, has the Naomi pcb, power supply, JAMMA interface, sound amp, and GD-ROM drive.

I disassembled everything, and much like a Naomi board I had years back (which I sold), everything was really gunked up inside, fans clogged, the power supply had a bad fan (locked up) so I replaced it w/one from a dead PC power supply.

The game won't start, if I unplug the GD-ROM I get 'communications error' and I can get into the test menu, so it appears the Naomi board is good.

So I go into test menu and choose DIMM board test, after a while I get 'error DIMM board timeout'. I took it apart, cleaned it, seems like there's some corrosion on the bottom of the DIMM pcb, very light white residue. So safe bet the DIMM board is bad?

Would anyone be willing to test it for me, along w/my GD-Rom drive, if I mailed it? I'll cover shipping both ways, I'd like to know if the GD-Rom drive is good or not along w/the DIMM board before I start randomly replacing things.

Thanks for the offers, I guess I'm going to just send the DIMM to the irepairsega.com guy and let him have a go at it. My only worry on repair is it ends up costing me more to fix than it would have to nab another DIMM board off ebay. Aw well, I can hope I get out moderatley cheap, hah. Thanks again for the offers. The repair guy said I should send the mobo in too, along w/the GD-rom, as it might actually be the mobo.

Now if I can just score a darn naomi cart. Love losing an auction while at work for a dollar over my high bid. I remember scoring a Power Stone cart off ebay in 2000 or so for 10 whole bucks. Ahh, memories, har.
