Adding buttons

Post by OldFoo »

Just found out that the Beach Spikers cabinet I have coming only has two buttons on each side. Is it easy to add another 4 with a kick harness or will I need to drill holes and find new wiring looms?

The cabinet is a standard Universal Naomi cab any info would be greatly appreciated.

It will actually be a 3 button panel, just with a button plug in button 3.

Well thats a step in the right direction at least ;)

What do I need to make it into a 6 button panel? I have extra buttons and a kick harness already on the way from a friend in the states.

30mm hole punch is what you need and a good eye to line up the buttons..

Hey Geezer.

Thanks, I've got about seven 2 button CP's I need to convert.

Did not know the size of the hole punch to get.

Sorry to bumb an old thread, but I thought it would be okay to ask this here.

So, I'm finally close to getting a hold of an Universal Cabinet, but it has a two button control panel. I'd like to add third buttons to it, and naturally removing the black plastic cover and getting the extra buttons with their wires won't be a problem. But after that, are they basically just plug and play, or will I face some problems with this control panel? Newbie explanations are appreciated.

Adding 3 button to each player is pretty strait forward.

Just punch out hole, add button and wire into exising control loom.

Adding 4,5,6 needs another harness and wiring.
