Post by OldFoo »

NE1 know what all controls are needed for Strike Fighter?

I think you need...

Analog Joystick

Analog Control for Throttle

Couple of buttons

Do you also need foot controls for rudders?

Standard JVS I/O or any special controls?

any info appreciated...

Thanks

Pisser,

Looks like it uses Joystick for Roll Left/Right up/down

Thuster for Fast/Slow

Button for Air Brake/Missle/Start

All of the control panel stuff looks like a straight forward conversion.

Unfortunately looks like rudder controls nose left/right

I wonder how game play is w/o rudder controls?

I was hoping to adapt this into an upright Universal Cabinet.

NE1 own this sit down cab (or have played it)?

Do you really need the rudder controls?

Any more info greatly appreicated.

Thanks

The rudder controls the yaw. You won't have the ability to turn. That will definitely make the game hard to play. What kind of cab do you have it in?

I do not have it in a cabinet yet.

There have been several opprotunities for me to purchase this title in a dedicated cabinet but I do not have room for another dedicated sit down cabinet.

I was hoping to purchase a dedicated cabinet, gut it, take all of the controls and fit them to standard universal control panel.

Looks like the rudder controls will make this not feasaible :smt011
