Wow. The original explanation didn't say that the weird numbers (9600, etc) were experience points. It didn't even mention the "11 coin" input! How was anybody supposed to know that? :smt102

Well, I've decided that there is either something wrong with my cart or my setup because it will not work under any circumstances for me....sigh...it actually seems like my cart will not even take xp the normal ways, so like I said most likely my cart or something...just my luck. 0_o

But great explanation nonetheless. thanks again for trying to help me out!

Yeah; everything works and no need for pics because our suspicions were correct...I checked my wiring and found that I had connected buttons 6-8 all to button 6 on both sides...no idea why I did it originally as it's been well over a year since I wired this thing...I'm guessing for another game(it's a multi-cab so it plays jamma as well as naomi-you just plug or unplug the stuff you need on it-and I do have some very weird old jamma games by sega japan and some other oddball stuff so who knows)...

so I unpluged 7&8 on p1 side and tried your instructions again-WORKED FLAWLESS!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)
