however - fear not, the naomi motherboard top casing I made 2 holes for was from a broken N1 mobo I had stashed away, so the original casing for this particular kit is actually un-harmed :smt023
Mr.Megalo!
The Jamma I/O board that you have just need a bit of advice about it, I'm in the process of buying one and would like to know what cables you need to hook it up to the Naomi and get it working, cheers for any info mate!
That psu looks ATX, but it's not. ATX psu's do not supply -5v and -12v. This psu looks to be rather specialized and, unless you plan on doing some re-wiring, would be risky to connect to the Naomi via adapter. I say, stick with an ATX psu; with that you can easily do better than 267 watts.
They're not molex, they're JST VL and are not easy to get in small numbers. I have a bunch of them but if you need a ATX to Naomi adapter I have a few in stock, check the market section.
The system is supposed to come with a jamma style adapter and a power 'dongle' adapter. If hooking up to a JVS system, you don't use the jamma connections and use the JVS USB type connection for the controls.
As for where can you get a replacement? I'm sorry, I don't know. I can only suggest that you try e-mailing places like www.coinopexpress.com. I just moved, so I don't have access to my Namco 246. Otherwise I would post a photo for your reference. :smt009
